GHOSTS SPREAD THROUGH THE CITY
This year, all across the city, we’re getting used to new kinds of neighbours. Ghosts!
We spoke with part-time nurse, Geoff Kim, about his encounter the other night. “I was home late from a shift,” Geoff told us, “and when I got out of my car, I heard a loud thud from across the street.” He looked over and saw a blur of white. It was so quick. “I knew it couldn’t have been a person, it was something else,” Geoff said.
Inner-city gallery owner, Jade Mafi, had just closed up an exhibition. “I was out the back of my gallery in the alleyway across from new town-houses,” Jade said. “The outdoor lighting was glaring.’” Jade also recalls seeing a blur of white! And then the lights cut out. As we spoke with Jade, we could tell she was terrified.
However, the police are denying these sightings are suspicious. In a press release, Lead Detective Hinkenbushel said the police “will not be commenting further because there are no such things as ghosts”.
To date, there have been 23 ghost sightings. Who are these ghosts? And what are they doing? We’re calling on everyone to help us solve this mystery!
